UFC 102: Couture vs. Nogueira is a mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on August 29, 2009 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.

It will feature former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion, Randy Couture, facing off against former PRIDE Heavyweight champion and former UFC Interim Heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Nate Marquardt vs Demian Maia

Maia kicks the head and it’s blocked. Maia tries to kick again and Marquardt counters it with a straight right. Maia takes it right on the chin and falls hard to the mat. Marquardt opts out of unloading as it’s not needed. Referee Dave Hagen steps in at the 0:21 mark of round one.
